Background: Nearly 400 million Indians go to bed without food every day and the country is ranked

dismal 66th position for Global Hunger Index. The country is categorized under ‘serious to alarming to

extremely alarming’ category. The children are the worst affected with malnutrition/underweight with high

mortality. There is poor food and nutritional security to women prior to and after child birth. The country is in

danger of producing ‘youth’ with weak health, both physical and mental, in the years to come if the present

children are not cared for
.
Motto: CARE – CONCERN – COMPASSION – COMMITMENT – COOPERATION (C5 FORMULA)

Vision: LIGHT THE LAMP OF HOPE AND CONFIDENCE IN THE MINDS OF HUNGRY

PEOPLE TO LEAD NORMAL LIFE WITH HUMAN DIGNITY
