Are you keen to ignite your philanthropic spirit to help the hungry Indians? Then ...
The 'feeling of hunger' needs to be felt individually :
>When you sit to take a plateful of 'food' daily you might pray to the Almighty God
thanking Him for providing the food...
>but, for few seconds, imagine how many million Indians especially children are not
fortunate to enjoy the luxury of 'food' daily and forced to go to bed empty stomach
>When you miss a meal and feel the pain for few hours, what could be the plight of
those chronically 'hungry' Indians with prolonged hunger
>When you come across the poorest children with malnutrition - underweight, stunted
and anemic then reflect your mind that lack of 'food' they are entitled to but not
provided adequately for long....is the root cause,
>When you dress up well and happily go around, then please spare few seconds to
witness the poorest of the poor without proper clothing to protect the body from
heat and cold and forced to wonder on the roads uncared for and unattended to.....
>We do come across the above daily but have no TIME to think and really feel as most
of us are insensitive and indifferent to human sufferings with the opinion that God was
kind to us and the poor are unfortunate and have to suffer......
>Well, 'feeling' for the hungry people for one or two days does not make you a philanthropist
but feeling for long with real mental preparation to provide food and clothing to the
most needy would make you a humble 'philanthropist' with divine duty, moral and social
responsibility; the participation should be voluntary and NOT under compulsion or to
oblige someone..
> For becoming a philanthropist, you don't have to be a lakhier/millionaire; with whatever
resources you have you can contribute for the noble cause of feeding hungry persons
>Now, if you are interested in being a philanthropist then join the 'Society for Hunger Elimination'
(SHE) established in TIRUPATI as a movement called HUNGER ELIMINATION AND YOU
(HEY)..........this is going to be a National effort with branches in as many places as possible
